#BlerdTV You Should Be Watching This Fall
Posted on August 18, 2014
Hey Blerds! The Fall TV season is fast approaching, and the sheer volume of new and returning shows can be a lot to manage. Lucky for you, we’ve assembled a premiere calendar that captures everything from the comic book based, to the supernatural, to ethnic comedies and reality TV experiments for easy DVR programming.
Television has become much more blerd-friendly. Taking into account the returning shows, there are now 6 shows that are inspired by comic books. Sitcoms black-ish and Cristela look to broaden the ethnic landscape on TV. And supernatural dramas Sleepy Hollow and Grimm will continue to both gross and freak us out. All of these shows hit that intelligent, nerdy, and innovative blerd sweet spot.
My top new shows for this fall are CBS’s Scorpion, NBC’s Constantine, and ABC’s black-ish. From the smart to the supernatural to the funny, each is a prime example of how varied the network slates are becoming.
Got something to say?
