Hey Blerds! The Midseason TV season is on our doorstep, and we’ve assembled a premiere calendar that captures everything new offerings, returning series, and the back half of Fall programs for easy DVR programming.
Television becomes more blerd-friendly with each new crop of shows. The SyFy channel boasts compelling shows 12 Monkeysand Helix. M. Night Shyamalan takes on television with Wayward Pines. And Frank Underwood takes his political maneuvering to new heights on House of Cards. All of these shows hit that intelligent, nerdy, and innovative blerd sweet spot.
My top new shows for this fall are FOX’s Empire, ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat, and ABC’s American Crime. In their own way, each show is helping to show diversity on television.
